I´m sorry I could not be in school today.

Here are some tasks for you to work on:

1. Don´t forget to listen to one of the comedies or dramas on the BBC Radio website. Write a summary and what you liked about it.

2. Write a summary of chapter 4 with special attention to the development of Blanche and Stanley´s relation.

Dear class,

today you are going to work on some grammar exercises.Have a look a the links and select  topics, you would like to work on. Work on the topics for 30 minutes and put the results into your folder.

Secondly have a look at the picture  with the table.

What time of day is it? What time of year?

Where is the table?

What has happened before the picture was taken?

What will happen next?

Think of other aspects, that might be important.

Write a short story in about 30 min. At least 150 words.

Dear class,

as I´m not in school today you will have to work on your own. Please work thoroughly and have your results in class on Thursday.

1) Listen to the BBC news on the internet or to BFBS news on the radio. Write a short summary about the news.

2) Read the text “Let´s be tough on crime” by Veronica Birkett again. Then answer task 3 on the right hand side. Use the box below to analyse the article properly.

3) Compare this text with the other text you have read. Write an essay and state your personal opinion at the end.
